Rieter Feltex opened its doors as a joint venture between Rieter Automotive Systems and Feltex in 1998. Rieter Automotive is a 51% shareholder and Feltex Automative (Pty) Ltd holds 49% of the shares. This joint venture involves the production of noise and thermal protection systems as well as floor systems and interior trim for use in international projects.
Rieter Feltex Automotive Division. offers the automotive industry a broad range of products and systems all centered around the core competencies of:

- Thermal management
The company offers complete systems for:
