Feltex Unifrax is a partnership between Feltex and the Unifrax Corporation of North America to cut and supply Unifrax products to customers in South Africa. Unifrax is a world leading producer of high temperature fibre products for a wide variety of industrial applications. The key technology in the production of Unifrax high temperature fibre products is the fiberization of the molten material, which is the result of more than six decades of experience.
Products
Unifrax products are used to meet the stringent quality standards of the automotive industry to protect heat sensitive components, extend equipment life and ensure passenger comfort and safety.
Typical applications include:
- Heat shield insulation
- Brake pad reinforcement
- Catalytic convertor support mats
- Filtration media for air bag inflators
