Feltex Automotive Division consists of six divisions: Feltex Automotive Trim and Feltex Fehrer (Durban, Rosslyn, Port Elizabeth, East London), Feltex Foam (Durban), Feltex Unifrax (Port Elizabeth), Rieter Feltex (Rosslyn) and Feltex Automotive Leathers (Ladysmith).

The company's factories are well located to serve the growing South African automotive industry. It is a strategic goal of Feltex Automative to be the market leader in all it's product categories.

To this end, it is market driven, internationally cost competitive, has strategic alliances with international leaders in the field and complies with international standards.

Recent projects undertaken by Feltex Automotive Division include:

• the Rosslyn automotive trim factory completed in February 2005 at a cost of R15 million,
• the installation of a R10 million PU12 station carousel foam machine in Rosslyn in August 05,
• the new waste recycling plant in Durban completed in August 05 at a cost of R20 million, and
• the new long fibre technology plant for Rieter JV in Rosslyn, completed in October 05 at a cost of R25 million.

Investment is ongoing to ensure Feltex Automotive Division maintains its market leadership.
