Originally established as a small retreading business in 1930 in Durban, South Africa, Wayne Rubber has diversified into the Mining, Footwear, Automotive and Construction, and Agricultural Industries.
Today, the company has a range of 1800 products and a manufacturing facility with the capacity to generate 17 000 tons of mixed rubber products per annum.
Products
Automotive: Convoluted hoses, wiper blades, dust covers, filtration gaskets, elbows, shock absorber bushes, mudflaps, fitted mats, wiper blades & sound deadening material.
Technology
Rubber Compounding: Natural, Synthetics, EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, Viton, Hypalon, Ebonite, Chlorobutyl.
Calendering: Uncured Calendered Rubber Sheeting: Chemical cured, steam cured.
Cured Calendered Rubber Sheeting: Reinforced and patterned sheeting, food quality sheets.
Compression Moulding: Multi-coloured footwear, screen printed resin sheets, antistatic and non-conductive footwear, gumboots (knee length with toe cap and sock insert), pre-cured tread.
Injection Moulding: Convoluted hoses, wiper blades, reinforced pipe seals.
